SOLUTIONS is the annual assistive device and health technologies design exposition for British Columbia post-secondary students. The primary objective is to encourage students to be aware of, and involved in, this vibrant industry by designing practical solutions to health technology problems.
This year's exposition will be held Thursday April 15th, 2010 at the GF Strong Rehab Centre. The event will showcase the student design projects submitted. Research & Development and marketing information will be provided and representatives from all facets of the health technology industry and health care community are invited.
How to Participate
Students may apply to SOLUTIONS by submitting an application form by January 31st, 2010 for the winter term. A SOLUTIONS Committee liaison will then contact the faculty advisor to arrange status for their student/s and, if requested, grant monies (not to exceed $50 per student-payable upon presentation at the Solutions Exposition).
Project Synopsis for inclusion in the printed program must be received by March 15th, 2010. This synopsis should be literate emphasizing the design problem, investigation, solution, testing, and outcome.

Application Process
Deadline for applications: January 31st, 2010
Mail, Fax, or e-mail applications and all correspondence to SOLUTIONS. Important: Legibility counts – please print carefully or type electronic addresses.
This application may be modified to suit the needs of various academic institutions.
The Committee respectfully requests a copy of any modified form in the hope of producing suitable generic application. A simple email from a faculty advisor with a large number of students shall suffice to qualify the applications in a course setting.
